pathological symptomatic manifestations of alcohol or drug addiction occurs in a latent form, but at any convenient opportunity they open up and a breakdown occurs with all the ensuing consequences.<\/p><p>During the period of remission, the patient must have a stable motivation to overcome the disease, completely refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages and drugs, and must also lead a healthy lifestyle.<\/p><p>At the moment of remission, a person suffering from addiction does not feel anxiety and feels good &#8211; this lasts until he gets into any difficult situations and circumstances that can become a catalyst for the use of drugs or alcohol, including: stressful situations, difficult stages in life, dismissal from work, quarrels with close people or their loss.<\/p><p>As a rule, even with a single use of a drug or alcohol &#8211; a breakdown occurs, leading to the resumption of systematic use &#8211; the process of treatment from alcohol and drugs, as factors in successful recovery and return to normal life. During this period, it is very important that the support is comprehensive: both from the specialists of the narcological clinic\/psychologists, and from close people.<\/p><p>At the same time, the addict must provide effective self-control &#8211; the persistent motivation instilled by psychologists must become an incentive in order not to break into a new round. One of the critical points is the period of 10-12 months after the end of use. After a year, a person already feels confident in his abilities, he begins to have thoughts that the problem has been solved and in the future there is no need to be afraid of it.
