Remission is the stage in the course of the disease, at which the bulk of the pathological symptomatic manifestations of alcohol or drug addiction occurs in a latent form, but at any convenient opportunity they open up and a breakdown occurs with all the ensuing consequences.<\/p>

During the period of remission, the patient must have a stable motivation to overcome the disease, completely refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages and drugs, and must also lead a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At the moment of remission, a person suffering from addiction does not feel anxiety and feels good – this lasts until he gets into any difficult situations and circumstances that can become a catalyst for the use of drugs or alcohol, including: stressful situations, difficult stages in life, dismissal from work, quarrels with close people or their loss.<\/p>

As a rule, even with a single use of a drug or alcohol – a breakdown occurs, leading to the resumption of systematic use – the process of treatment from alcohol and drugs, as well as rehabilitation, must be started again, from the very beginning.<\/p>

Help and support of the addict during remission period<\/h2>

Help and support of the addict during the period of remission is one of the key factors in successful recovery and return to normal life. During this period, it is very important that the support is comprehensive: both from the specialists of the narcological clinic\/psychologists, and from close people.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
